Bashtanka Cheese Plant is considered one of the leading experts of the cheese-making industry. Its products are famous in Ukraine and abroad under the trademark Slavia.

The quality management system at Bashtanka Cheese Plant is certified according to the requirements of  ISO 9001:2008, and the food safety system – according to ISO 22000:2005.

The products under TM Slavia are characterized by two important features — technological effectiveness and naturalness. Any attempt to avoid, artificially speed up or shorten required complex biological processes influences the final result — cheese taste and aroma.

Bashtanka Cheese Plant products meet pure taste standards, which is proven by high popularity of products under TM Slavia.

Today the products of the enterprise are available almost all Ukraine regions and goes to the end consumer through supermarket networks, and also through retail network.

For the last 10 years Bashtanka Cheese Plant has earned more than 80 awards at international and national exhibitions.

  • 2011
    In August 2011 Bashtanka Cheese Plant has earned a new unique system of sewage treatment with the capacity of 1300 m3 per day. The technological system and equipment for it was developed by the Ukrainian technological company. Technical solutions used in the sewage treatment system of the plant are patented as know-how and is kept secret by the developers. By its effectiveness, technical and economic parameters, the water treatment equipment meets all world standards, and two-stage biological process allows to get technical water, biogas and cake — solid organic fertilizer.
  • 2007
    Joining the Group of Enterprises Milk Alliance in 2007 symbolized new era of active development for Bashtanka Cheese Plant, which included installing new modern automated equipment from well-known foreign manufacturers that allows the plant to process more than 350 tons per day.
  • 1973
    The enterprise was put into operation on December 20, 1973, and quickly won the reputation of high-quality dairy products manufacturer.
