Enemy Drones Attack “Yagotynske for Children”

This morning, June 5, while the facility was operating as usual, enemy drones struck the “Yagotynske for Children” plant in the settlement of Zghurivka. The administrative building and part of the production facilities were damaged.

As a result of this terrorist attack, four plant employees who were maintaining the production process were killed.

“We lost not only highly skilled professionals — we lost part of our large family. Every day, these people came to work so that Ukrainian children, despite the war, could have fresh and high-quality nutrition. The company expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims. We will provide comprehensive support and assistance to the families of our colleagues. This pain will never fade, and we will never forgive the enemy for this tragedy,” the company’s management stated.

There are also injured employees who are currently hospitalized. Doctors are fighting for their lives and health, providing all necessary medical care. The company is assuming full financial and organizational responsibility for the treatment and further rehabilitation of every affected colleague. At this moment, all our attention and resources are focused on supporting them and their families during this critical time.

Products under the “Yagotynske for Children” brand are critically important for ensuring a healthy diet for children across the country. This strike is yet another act of blatant terrorism against civilian infrastructure and Ukraine’s food security.

The company officially emphasizes that the “Yagotynske for Children” plant is an exclusively civilian food industry facility. There is and has never been any military equipment or weaponry on or near the plant’s premises. The facility produces only dairy baby food products.

Emergency response efforts and documentation of this war crime are currently ongoing at the site.

We officially state: the production of baby dairy food products will not stop. Our team has already developed a plan to localize the consequences of the strike. We are ready to begin restoration work as soon as emergency services grant safe access to the site. We will mobilize all available resources and financing to fully restore production operations as soon as possible.
