Milk + Art: Yagotynske Launches Art Moloko with Paintings by Maria Prymachenko
20 October 2025
Yagotynske has launched a new line — Art Moloko, transforming the usual milk packaging into a canvas with motifs from the works of the outstanding Ukrainian artist Maria Prymachenko. Her fantastic cows have become the main element of the design.
In Maria Prymachenko's work, a cow is much more than just a domestic animal. It is a breadwinner and an integral part of Ukrainian life. It is the personification of fertility, well-being and care. It is this deep symbolism that became the starting point for the collaboration of Yagotynske with the Prymachenko Family Foundation.
Serhiy Vovchenko: "In her paintings, Maria Prymachenko depicts the generosity of the earth and the value of the animal that gives people one of the most important products — milk. This image, full of bright colors and life-affirming energy, perfectly resonates with the mission of the Yagotynske brand — to provide Ukrainians with high-quality and natural dairy products."
With this collaboration, Yagotynske emphasizes the naturalness of its products. A cow grazing in a field is a visual symbol of environmental friendliness, cleanliness, and care.
In addition, this is an appeal to the national code. Maria Prymachenko is a famous Ukrainian artist. Her works are part of the national cultural code. By integrating her fantastic, but at the same time such “native” cows, the brand not only decorates the packaging, but also participates in the preservation and popularization of a great cultural heritage and popularizes it among Ukrainians.
Anastasia Prymachenko, director and founder of the Prymachenko Family Foundation, the artist’s great-granddaughter: “Maria Prymachenko reinterpreted the surrounding reality, passing it through a unique lens. For many people, Maria’s work is primarily associated with fantastic animals and flowers. But among these images there are also those in which one feels almost documentary truth. The cow is one of such creatures. There is warmth and peace in the way she is depicted. For the artist herself, this image personified abundance, home comfort and care. It is clear that she painted these animals with tenderness.
Therefore, I am especially glad that this collaboration with "Yagotynsky" will reveal another facet of Maria's work, the one where reality lives next to fantasy, filled with love for the land from which she drew inspiration.
