Yagotynske and Yagotynske for Kids produce about 20% of their products in Tetra Pak® packaging, which is mainly made of cardboard made from FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified wood and other responsible sources of procurement.

This step is a response to global environmental challenges and the growing consumer demand for products produced with respect for the environment. Information about environmental friendliness is already placed on the packaging of ultra-pasteurized milk supplied to retail chains.

Inna Ivanova, Director of Strategic Development of the Milk Alliance Group of Companies, commented on this initiative:
“For Yagotynske, quality has always been and is a fundamental value. Today, we are expanding this concept: quality is not only a flawless product inside, but also a responsible attitude to the environment. Tetra Pak packaging made of FSC-certified cardboard is a logical step in our sustainable development strategy. The use of ecological packaging gives Ukrainian consumers the opportunity to make daily choices in favor of preserving ecosystems for future generations".

FSC® certification is considered the “gold standard” in the field of responsible forest management. It guarantees that all wood used to produce cardboard packaging comes from forests where environmentally acceptable, socially oriented and economically viable management is carried out. This includes preserving biodiversity and ensuring the restoration of forest resources.

In the modern world, waste sorting and recycling is becoming one of the most dynamic industries, which deeply affects all aspects of our lives. This process plays a crucial role in reducing the size of landfills, preventing environmental pollution and, no less importantly, in preserving natural resources through the reuse of secondary raw materials.

The products produced in environmentally friendly Tetra Pak packaging include 34 items: ultra-pasteurized milk, including lactose-free milk, cream, milk porridges, and cocktails.
