Bashtanka Cheese Plant launched a new product — Cheddar cheese with fat content of 45%. This kind of cheese is very common in England, the USA and Canada, and now it will please the Ukrainian gourmets with its taste.

Cheese will be produced exclusively from cow milk in brick of about 5 kg. Its taste is sour and spicy, and the consistence is tender. Color is from light-yellow to yellow. Cheddar in the section quickly dries, so cut it right before use.

Cheddar melts well, so it can be used as a snack or as an ingredient in various dishes. English gourmets eat such cheese in combination with mustard, bananas, cider and loose wines.

Besides, in May 2017 Bashtanka Cheese Plant, a part of Milk Alliance Group of Companies, has received permission to export its products to the countries of the Arab-Muslim world. Certificate is issued by Alraid Halal Certification and Recearch Center for one year and allows Muslims from all over the world to eat all the assortment of the brand Slavia.
