GC «Milk Alliance» traditionally implements a lot of public benefit projects aimed at supporting children’s talents, health and well-being of the disadvantaged and elderly people as well as reparation and proper functioning of social institutions such as schools, hospitals, etc. It is nice to do good for people to feel open hearts and to see their grateful eyes. One of the new areas of charity is hospice care of incurably ill people.

Like everywhere else in the world, in Ukraine, unfortunately, morbidity and mortality from cancer is growing with each year. Oncopathology traditionally ranks second among the causes of death, second only to cardiovascular disease.

Through active initiative group of citizens there has been established Regional charitable organization «Association of Hospice and Palliative Care» in Poltava, the main activity of which is help with medical and social support the incurably ill with cancer, cardiovascular and other diseases that limit life expectancy. GC «Milk Alliance» joined the activity of this organization, becoming one of the most active sponsors, benefactors in 2013.

The problem of the region is that no organization in Poltava provides palliative care at home, despite the fact that the capacity of the regional oncologic dispensary is overloaded, resulting in a large number of the critically ill unable to receive adequate medical care.

The organization of palliative care «Hospice at Home», with the support of citizens and companies-benefactors, provides for several months already, quality health care to citizens (disabled, war veterans, the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident, low-income families, and those who were in crisis and in need of financial assistance.)
