Novoarkhangelsky cheese plant

Íîâîàðõàíãåëüñüêèé ñèðçàâîä The enterprise was founded in village Novoarkhangelsk, Kirovograd region after the World War II for manufacturing of dairy products. Then the plant had two subsidiaries situated in villages Podvysoke and Peregonovka which also manufactured dairy products. The range of products included hard cheeses, curd, butter, ice-cream, kefir, canned milk.

In 1964 the plant was put into operation and started to process milk. The main specialization is manufacturing of hard cheeses: “Stepovy”, “Golandsky”, “Bukovynsky”. Although till 80-s it manufactured sour cream, cottage cheese, butter, ice-cream. In 1984 it was closed for reconstruction. Hungarian basins for cheese manufacturing and automized line to bottle kefir were installed.

Crisis of 90-s had not passed by the enterprise. The range of products reduced to manufacturing of hard cheeses "Golandsky" and "Bukovinsky".

In 1994 in accordance with the Privatization Plan of the State property Fund Novoarkhangelsky cheese plant was reorganised into the Open Stock Company “Novoarkhangelsky cheese plant”.

In 2003 the range of cheeses was expanded by such types of cheese as "Gouda", "Edam", "Marmurovy", "Duplet".

In 2005 manufacturing of cheese “Rosiisky” started.

In 2006 it started to manufacture such elite cheeses as: “Pectoral”, “Emental”, “Maasdam”, “Monomakh”.

Besides in 2006 the second cheese production unit was launched.
